Christians in the Visual Arts (a.k.a CIVA) is an
organization that provides resources, inspiration, and opportunities for visual
artists who want to marry their art with their faith. WHAT!? How long has this
existed... and why am I just finding out about it now?! Well, logically, I’m
only finding out about it now because I’ve only just recently become interested
(read: proactive) about illustration as a possible career… This is another
organization that provides great stuff for freelancers. More than that, however, it is a great
inspiration at how to uncompromisingly follow Christ as an artist in the world.
