Next year is going to be my last year of college... EEEK! but that also means that I get to work on stuff for an art show! Yay! :D My idea is to do illustrations of Biblical people in Victorian fashions. because I can... and other reasons too, but that's what I'm sharing so far :)
The first piece I've been working on is eventually going to be a diptych of Adam and Eve.At the moment it's only Eve, but her hubby will join her. This was done using india ink on bristol board.
Fun fact: India ink is awesome!!! seriously though, I've never legitimately used it for inking, i usually use my handy-dandy side kicks, pigma micron pens, but this stuff CRAZY FANTASTIC! you just need some incredibly thin brushes, and presto!

unmatted, uncropped, unframed, and still in the process of being worked on :) |
So that's in progress project number one, project number 2 is a little something i like to call, "Noah and Nessie." It is a 3 color lino-block print. As of right now, I'm not entirely satisfied with it (I'm thinking that the blue on Noah's hat is unnecessary) but it's only a baby :)

Now to finishing these and move on to the next project!
